Over the past few years, hotel clients of CWW have asked for an increased focus on the meetings and group industry. It is estimated that more than 20% of all rooms sold globally are group/MICE related, and CWW’s existing hotel brand clients expressed interest in increasing their share of the global meeting and group revenue.

In response to this request, CWW tested the group and MICE sales distribution under the temporary brand name CWW Hotel Selection throughout 2014, using technology that was accepted by hotel companies and meeting planners alike.

“The results were beyond our expectations and we were very quickly providing extraordinary leads and bookings from 32 global markets to our hotel clients,” said Eric J. Otto, President and CEO of Connect Worldwide International Inc.

The test period was so successful that other individual hotels and resorts, as well as additional hotel brands, expressed interest in participating in this global sales opportunity. To properly position this growing new service, CWW has created a new brand named Luxpitality.

Since that time, Patrick has gained significant experience in hotel sales. He held key hotel sales positions at the Wynn in Las Vegas and most recently at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. Both properties are high end, superior services resorts.
