Earlier this month, connectworldwide signed an agreement with its newest hotel client: Grand Hotel Wien. CWW looks forward to representing this 5 star luxury Vienna hotel the United States. Services will begin on September 1, 2015.
This 145 year old property has endured many transformations over the years. The Grand Hotel Wien originally opened on May 10th, 1870 with 300 rooms, 200 bathrooms, steam elevators and a telegraph office. It was considered sensational for it’s time. Since then, the building has been remodeled multiple times, as well as used for other purposes from 1945-1989. On June 14th, 1994 the Grand Hotel Wien was re-opened after a 100 million Euro renovation. Today the property includes a luxury spa, 12 different venues for meetings and events, and is home to several of Vienna’s best restaurants and bars (offering award Viennese, European and Japanese cuisine).
